Why We Love It

Almonds have always been one of our favorite snacks, thanks to their recognizable nutty flavor. And this no-nonsense, unsweetened almond milk has made us love them even more. Elmhurst promises up to four times more nuts per serving, and you can taste every last one of them in each drop you pour from this adorably classic carton.

  • Ingredient Integrity

Elmhurst's ingredients are vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, and contain no artificial ingredients.
Their oats are certified Glyphosate Residue Free.
Elmhurst's unique HydroRelease™ production method eliminates the need for added gums or emulsifiers, resulting in products with a clean label of two to six ingredients.
Elmhurst 1925's products do not contain ingredients on Hive's No Good, Dirty Rotten list of banned and watch list ingredients.
  • Responsible Production

Providing superior nutrition with zero food waste, Elmhurst's HydroRelease™ production process uses all parts of the source grain, nut, or seed.
Because they remove the environmental impact of animal agriculture, greenhouse gases, and heavy land and water use, plant-based foods often have a lower carbon footprint.
  • Clean Packaging

Elmhurst's cartons are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and are 100% curbside recyclable.
Their aseptic packaging method uses time, temperature, and hermetic sealing to create fully sterile beverages without any need for preservatives.
  • Leading Change

Their Mission Transition is rallying others to replace dairy and meat with plant-based alternatives.
  • Rave Worthy

Our team personally tests every product to make sure it’s good enough to end up in your home, not a landfill.

Elmhurst 1925

When the original Elmhurst Dairy closed its doors in Queens in 2016, Henry Schwartz moved his father’s company to Buffalo and reimagined it to embrace the future of milk: plant-based dairy. Using a game-changing process developed by food technologist Dr. Cheryl Mitchell, Elmhurt 1925 uses more of the source grain, nut, or seed, and the finished product is superior nutrition and flavor with fewer ingredients.

Love the ingredients

I always buy it as I love that there are only two ingredients. Noone else in my family wants to even try it because it has small pieces that look alot like spoiled milk.

Almond milk is bad for your health

Doing research almond milk in of itself is bad for you as well as oat milk. Just because it’s the in thing doesn’t make it good. I thought this was supposed to be good for you

I just don't like this

I love Elmhurst's cashew and coconut milk. But almond milk, not so much. I don't know what it is about it - the occasional lump, maybe, but the taste, for sure. I just don't like it. It's sort of sour. I don't enjoy it in my coffee. Others love it, however, so pay your money and take your choice.
