Field Trip uses chicken and pork that are free of hormones and antibiotics. They avoid the commonly use nitrates/nitrites, preservatives, artificial ingredients, added MSG, hydrolyzed corn protein, disodium inosinate, fructose or corn syrup, maltodextrin, and sodium erythorbate. Field Trip's products do not contain ingredients on Hive's No Good, Dirty Rotten list of banned and watch list ingredients.
Responsible Production
Chickens are cage-free, and pigs are fed vegetarian feeds and raised humanely on environmentally sustainable farms. Their beef is 100% grass-fed and free-range, and their turkeys are free-range as well.

How it does good
Field Trip was founded by three friends who saw the need for clean, protein-rich snacks that didn't sacrifice quality and taste. Using ingredients that can be found in your kitchen cupboard, their snacks avoid things like MSG, preservatives, and artificial ingredients. Instead, they're simple, delicious, and meant to be enjoyed just as nature intended.

Field Trip makes protein-rich snacks without skimping on quality or taste. Tom Donigan, Scott Fiesinger, and Matt Levey founded Field Trip in 2010 after coming back from a ski trip. They had stopped at a gas station to find a quick snack, but could only find jerky laden with preservatives, chemicals, and tons of added sugar. That was the moment they decided to create something better. Now, Field Trip strives to make versatile treats for on-the-go people with all kinds of dietary needs.
