Details

Founders (and high school sweethearts!) Luis and Marsha Morales focus on the flavors of the chilis in their sauces, letting spicy heat sit in the back seat. On a scale of "heat? what heat?" (a one) to "help, my face is on fire!" (a five), this bright and approachable sauce is a middling "oh, I'm awake now" three.

Ingredients

Dried Chili Paste (Apple Cider Vinegar, Pineapple, Achiote, Puya, Pasilla, Sea Salt, Arbol) Fresh Onions, Cane Sugar.

Allergens: Soy

How it does good

Preservatives and additives are in a lot of popular jarred sauces. Humble House wants to change that. Not only are their sauces free from those questionable ingredients, they're also actively educating consumers about where food comes from. From hosting cooking demonstrations at local markets, to teaching kids at schools, they're committed to food education within their community—all while creating sauces from locally-sourced ingredients.
