How it does good
The world may run on coffee, but coffee production is run with a number of problems. From pollution, deforestation, and extinction to unfair labor practices, farming and roasting are known to have a negative impact on people and the land they live on. Partners Coffee is doing things differently. They maintain personal relationships with the producers behind their fully traceable coffees, which helps them ensure eco-friendly recycling practices all along their supply chain. This includes donating chaff, a roasting byproduct, to local farmers as a natural fertilizer as part of an effort to make themselves zero-waste. They also buy non-commodity priced coffees, which means their partners receive a reliable income that they can send back into their communities.

Partners coffee believes they are only as good as their partners (in coffee, that is). The company began with a strong commitment to sourcing and roasting quality coffee. What started as a New York City cafe and roaster has since grown, in part due to strong relationships with sustainable producers around the world.
