Ah, trash day. It’s the day where you smell the smelly smells and your fingers will most likely touch strange liquid dripping from the trash bag. Please, kiss those days goodbye. Star-sealed at the bottom and made from compostable materials, these small bin bags prevent leakage while helping to reduce your carbon footprint. Who can pass that up?
The box is curbside recyclable, and the bags are home or industrially compostable. Find a compost location near you at www.findacomposter.com.

How it does good
Plants over plastic
Humanity produces nearly the weight of the entire population in plastic annually. Since their launch in 2010, Repurpose has kept 3,531,805 lbs (and counting) of waste out of landfills. Made with plant-based materials that fully break down, their reusable tableware is showing everyday items their greenest potential. Practicing a closed-loop sustainability, their products can be composted to help grow the plant-based materials later used to make future products.
Repurpose makes their compostable, BPA-free, and PFAS-free products from renewable, plant-based materials. They make their plates, bowls, and cutlery from upcycled plant fiber, a combination of sugarcane, eucalyptus, and wood scrap left after the manufacture of other products. They make PLA resin from corn grow in the U.S., and other plants like sugarcane, beets, and cassava.
Learn MoreRepurpose's plant-based products emit 80% less CO2 into the atmosphere and use 52% less energy to produce than plastics. Their compostable plates and bowls use 66% less energy than paper plates and bowls.
Learn MoreRepurpose supports the Surfrider Foundation, an organization dedicated to protecting the world's oceans.
Learn MoreRepurpose products are 100% compostable in commercial composting facilities. No matter where they end up, they eventually break down into natural elements without leaving behind microplastics and toxic residue.

I would not buy again
Bags are not sturdy. They rip every time I use them.

Hard to get a new bag without ripping it
The bags work well however the perforation could probably be made easier to separate or the bags easier to open. I rip 2/3 of the bags to an unusable state just trying to either separate one from the other along the perforation or trying to open the bags up.

Using an old ice bucket. Fits perfectly
They are helping me be able to be a better person.
