Details

There's something about a cup of tea that makes everything better. And then there's something especially great about the teapigs signature tea, their organic English Breakfast. It's made with three delicious teas: an Assam, a Ceylon, and a Rwandan that create a perfectly balanced blend that's malty, zesty, and rich. It practically tastes like a hug in a cup.

Ingredients

Certified organic black tea from Assam, Rwanda and Ceylon.

Allergens: Made in a factory that handles nuts.

How to Use

Once your water's boiled, you're just 3+ minutes away from your daily cuppa. Just add some milk!

Recycling

The outer carton can go right into your curbside recycling bin, while the inner bag is compostable in both a home or industrial compost bin.

These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.

Hive Five™ Certified

How it does good

Tea sourcing can sometimes negatively impact the regions where tea is grown. teapigs fights against this by supporting communities in Gisenyi, Rwanda, where many of their teas come from. They use their business model to make a difference. They work with organizations that provide care for disabled children and young adults in Rwanda and make donations towards the hidden costs of education. On top of that, they're doing their part for the environment. Teas come from high-quality, well-run tea estates, and the packaging is fully plastic-free.

teapigs

Founders Nick and Louise have a simple mission: get people drinking real, high-quality tea that’s sustainably sourced and packed in environmentally friendly packaging. They source only from sustainable estates working directly with the farmers and were the first tea company certified as plastic free. They also have a partnership with the Point Foundation in Rwanda supporting orphans and vulnerable young people in the Gisenyi region, particularly those with disabilities.
