teapigs did it: they've created a green tea that even green tea haters will love. With a natural taste of summer air, sweet peaches, and fresh apricots, this organic Mao Feng Green Tea transports us to clear days and sandy beaches (talk about a staycation). Plus, it has major health benefits, including supporting metabolism, containing antioxidants, and helping protect the skin from UV and pollution damage.

teapigs was the first-ever, fully plastic-free tea brand. Their outer packaging is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and their inner packaging is made of wood pulp and fully compostable.

The outer carton can go right into your curbside recycling bin, while the inner bag is compostable in both a home or industrial compost bin.
These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.

How it does good

Giving back to smallholder farmers and tea workers

Tea sourcing can sometimes negatively impact the regions where tea is grown. teapigs fights against this by supporting communities in Gisenyi, Rwanda, where many of their teas come from. They use their business model to make a difference. They work with organizations that provide care for disabled children and young adults in Rwanda and make donations towards the hidden costs of education. On top of that, they’re doing their part for the environment. Teas come from high-quality, well-run tea estates, and the packaging is fully plastic-free.
