Hive Five™ Certified
No need to guess what's in your food or how it was made. Our experts vet every product for ingredient integrity, responsible sourcing, and great taste using our own criteria called the Hive Five.
Ingredient
Integrity
The Naked Botanical grows most of their own ingredients and their beeswax comes from a certified organic farm in Hawaii, the only state in the US where you can source certified organic beeswax. Their cocoa butter is Fair Trade, sourced from Peru and Ecuador. Fairtrade standards encourage farmers to use environmentally friendly practices, such as developing nutrient-rich soils, using less toxic pesticides, and sourcing water sustainably, in addition to ensuring that farmers are paid above market rates for their crops, allowing them to invest in their communities. The Naked Botanical's products do not contain ingredients on Hive's No Good, Dirty Rotten list of banned and watch list ingredients.
Responsible Production
The Naked Botanical sources their herbs in this order: their farm, locally, regionally, then from the US. The Naked Botanical does not test their products for contaminants.
Clean Packaging
The Naked Botanical only uses packaging that is 100% recyclable or reusable.

How it does good
It's easy to say that you source from the finest sources, but The Naked Botanical knows for 100% fact that their ingredients live up to what they say. Because their founder is the primary farmer. With the high quality of their herbs as a guiding light, The Naked Botanical wants you to experience the best of herbs, just as Mother Nature intended.
How to Use
Recycling
These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
The Naked Botanical
A woman-run, certified organic herb farm in New Jersey, The Naked Botanical is where the herbal magic happens. Founder and farmer Anna traded in her briefcase as a lawyer for a hoe when she was unable to source herbs that were as vibrant as the ones she grew herself in her then small garden. She believes in order to capture the true essences of the herbs, they must be packaged or added to products immediately rather than travel thousands of miles before production. The Naked Botanical wants you to feel like you picked the herbs right alongside Anna because their products are that fresh and vibrant.
