Outdoor Ouchies Healing Salve

Sustainable goodness
The Naked Botanical sources exclusively from their own farm or other certified organic herb farms in the United States.
Why we love it
The Naked Botanical’s founder and farmer Anna swears by this stuff. “I’m my own guinea pig,” she says. Crafted from her own personal experience suffering through rashes and bites in the summer, this healing salve of herb-infused olive oil with jewelweed and plantain helps soothe those skin misfortunes. Plus, major brownie points for the subtle scent of chocolate. Other than that, there are no added essential oils or scents.

How it does good
Straight from the source
It’s easy to say that you source from the finest sources, but The Naked Botanical knows for 100% fact that their ingredients live up to what they say. Because their founder is the primary farmer. With the high quality of their herbs as a guiding light, The Naked Botanical wants you to experience the best of herbs, just as Mother Nature intended.
-
responsible sourcing
The Naked Botanical grows most of their own ingredients. When sourcing from others, they only partner with fellow certified organic herb farmers. They grow their own herbs using certified organic practices. All the ingredients of the salves come from their farm and the beeswax comes from a certified organic farm in Hawaii, the only state in the US where you can source certified organic beeswax. -
low carbon footprint
The Naked Botanical sources their herbs in this order: their farm, locally, regionally, then from the US. -
recyclable packaging
The Naked Botanical only uses packaging that is 100% recyclable or reusable.
How to use it

Rub onto your skin in an itch emergency. For even better results, use at night before going to sleep. Note: Do not leave the product in the sun or heat as beeswax and cocoa butter will melt. Just in case life happens, simply put the salve back in the refrigerator to solidify the salve.
When you're done...
Good news! Recycle the empty tin in a curbside bin.
These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
