Ingredient Integrity

Each product from UpCircle sources and rescues by-products from other industries, particularly from the food and drink industry. They use only the finest plant-based ingredients, and never test on animals. UpCircle Beauty 's products do not contain ingredients on Hive's No Good, Dirty Rotten list of banned and watch list ingredients.

Responsible Production

By upcycling a different food waste into every product, UpCircle saves dozens of ingredients from going to waste, from coffee grounds and chai spices to date seeds and olive stones. UpCircle Beauty tests their products for Allergens and Mycotoxins.

Clean Packaging

In addition to packaging their products in curbside recyclable packaging, UpCircle partners with rePurpose Global to support coastal plastic removal through Project Saaf Samudra in Goa.

Leading Change

UpCircle donates aid to over 20 different organizations, including Refuge, a domestic abuse charity, and The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, who tackle inequality in all forms.

Rave Worthy

Our team personally tests every product to make sure it’s good enough to end up in your home, not a landfill.

How it does good

The circular economy sits at the heart of UpCircle Beauty's mission—they even named themselves after it! UpCircle also hints at ‘upcycling', the process of making something better from things that already exist, which they do by transforming ingredients that would otherwise be discarded into natural, organic beauty products that are better for you and the world.

How to Use

Suitable for all skin types. Massage between your fingers and onto damp face in upward circular motions. Rinse with warm water.

Recycling

Recycle the outer box and bottle in a curbside recycling bin. The pump top is recyclable through TerraCycle by following our special instructions.

These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.

UpCircle Beauty

Founders Anna and William Brightman started UpCircle Beauty to help address issues of food and ingredient waste. Their proverbial "Ah-ha" moment was when they learned that over 500,000 tons of coffee grounds are discarded annually in the UK - coffee grounds that are full of antioxidants and could be transformed into a natural exfoliant. Cafe by cafe they collected and transformed those grounds into upcycled skincare products, becoming pioneers in the circular beauty economy and creating UpCircle (get it?) Beauty. They've since expanded their efforts to repurpose more than ten other by-product ingredients from varied industries, including the argan, tea, juice, date, olive and wood industries.
