Whether your M.O. is “wait ‘til the last pair of socks” or “can’t wait to spend the weekend washing,” this gentle laundry soap mixes essential oils and coconut oil to clean great and smell even better.

You're already conscious of ingredients in what you eat and what you wash with. Now, it's time to give your clothes, towels, and sheets the same treatment. This plant-based laundry soap doesn't make a lot of suds, and it doesn't include irritating, non-renewable chemicals either. Instead, it uses fragrant essential oils, super-cleansing baking soda, and softening coconut for a high-quality, efficient clean your laundry will love. Choose your pick from calming lavender, earthy patchouli, crisp sea salt, or the fruity woodsiness of frankincense and myrrh.

Ingredients

Potassium cocoate (saponified 100% coconut oil), sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), fragrance (essential oils & fragrance) and glycerin (vegetable)

How it does good

We use soaps and cleansers to wash our bodies, but that doesn't mean they're inherently clean. Many ingredients lists include non-renewable petrochemicals and carcinogens, which can do serious harm to our environment when they're disposed of. Non-chemical resources, like palm oil, also cause problems when irresponsible harvesting leads to deforestation. With all this in mind, Zum set out to create a new kind of line. In their Kansas City-based factory, they're cooking up cruelty-free, vegetarian cosmetics using natural, custom-blended oils, minerals, and milks. You'll never find parabens or phthalates in their stuff. They're dedicated to sustainably sourced bath and body products with short supply chains and ingredients that keep your body and the earth clean.

How to Use

With this laundry soap, a little goes a long way. Pair a small capfull with your high-efficiency washing machine, and you're good to go.

Recycling

The jug is recyclable in a curbside bin, and the cap is recyclable through TerraCycle by following our special instructions.

These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
