How it does good
Healthy baby, happy baby
Founded on the Nordic way of doing things, Bambo Nature by Abena aligns function and form in respect for others and for the environment. That’s why they only use high quality materials for your baby’s needs. And with more eco-friendly and skin-friendly certifications than any other brand, Bambo Nature’s dedication is hard to miss. Their diapers are gentle on skin and the environment, and never include any parabens, perfume, color or other unsafe preservatives. Bambo Nature also voluntarily undergoes strict, rigorous, third-party environmental inspections of their products that assess the environmental impact of the entire life cycle—all the way from raw material to production, consumption, and waste.
-
responsible sourcing
Bambo Nature only uses high quality ingredients, never adding any chemicals, dyes, parabens or perfumes to ensure that their diapers are free of all known allergens. The wood used for pulp is derived from sustainable forestry, where more trees are planted than felled. Stora Enso, their pulp supplier, is a member of the Clean Shipping Project. And they don't use chlorine in any part of their manufacturing process. -
low carbon footprint
Bambo Nature’s diapers are made at their production site in Denmark on highly advanced machines that ensure minimal overall energy consumption. And they recycle 95% of all waste that comes out of production. Even powder and dust from the plant is filtered, collected and sold for further use. -
supporting key causes
Abena donates to children’s organizations, such as “Børns Vilkår" (translated to "Children's Conditions"). They’ve also donated money to “Danmarks Indsamling,” a national fundraiser in Denmark that collects money for various children’s causes. And in disaster relief efforts, they donated their products during the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
How to use it
Warm the lotion in your hands and gently massage into your baby’s skin. Apply a thin layer and make sure you cover the entire body focusing on dry areas and skin folds. Made for daily use and also perfect after bath time.
When you're done...
The bottle is curbside recyclable, and the pump top is recyclable through TerraCycle by following our special instructions.
These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
About the Brand
Bambo Nature
Bambo Nature
Launched by the family-owned, Danish brand Abena, Bambo Nature makes premium, sustainable baby diapers that keep your little ones comfortable all day long.
Before Bambo (bam–BOH) Nature was “Bambo Nature,” the Terp-Nielsen family, founders of Abena, began selling Bambolina disposable diapers in Denmark. “Bambolina,” or “dolly” in Danish, was a nod to the beautiful babies who would use the diapers. The family chose a little bear to represent the brand, whom they affectionately called Bambo. “Nature” was added to the brand’s name to signify the family’s dedication to using sustainable, eco-friendly materials in the production process.
