How it does good
Healthy baby, happy baby
Founded on the Nordic way of doing things, Bambo Nature by Abena aligns function and form in respect for others and for the environment. That’s why they only use high quality materials for your baby’s needs. And with more eco-friendly and skin-friendly certifications than any other brand, Bambo Nature’s dedication is hard to miss. Their diapers are gentle on skin and the environment, and never include any parabens, perfume, color or other unsafe preservatives. Bambo Nature also voluntarily undergoes strict, rigorous, third-party environmental inspections of their products that assess the environmental impact of the entire life cycle—all the way from raw material to production, consumption, and waste.
responsible sourcingBambo Nature only uses high quality ingredients, never adding any chemicals, dyes, parabens or perfumes to ensure that their diapers are free of all known allergens. The wood used for pulp is derived from sustainable forestry, where more trees are planted than felled. Stora Enso, their pulp supplier, is a member of the Clean Shipping Project. And they don't use chlorine in any part of their manufacturing process.
low carbon footprintBambo Nature’s diapers are made at their production site in Denmark on highly advanced machines that ensure minimal overall energy consumption. And they recycle 95% of all waste that comes out of production. Even powder and dust from the plant is filtered, collected and sold for further use.
supporting key causesAbena donates to children’s organizations, such as “Børns Vilkår" (translated to "Children's Conditions"). They’ve also donated money to “Danmarks Indsamling,” a national fundraiser in Denmark that collects money for various children’s causes. And in disaster relief efforts, they donated their products during the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
These are the perfect thickness and wetness. They clean better than the green wipes we used to use, and as a result we use fewer per change. They also come out one at a time without sticking. No more whipping wipes mid-change to get them unstuck! The closure on top is great. I don’t find partially opened packages halfway dried out anymore because it’s obvious when these are closed so they don’t accidentally get left open. All in all, they’re our favorite wipe. So glad Hive carries them at such a decent price!!
