Absolutely delicious spread for chai lovers! Hard to resist going back for 2nd's!
Best almond butter ever
I'm obsessed with this almond butter - the flavors of the chai spices are delicious, and it's also got the most wonderful texture, with some bits of almond that aren't completely ground up. I love it.
A feast for the Senses!!!!
I am in love with all of BIG SPOON nut butters and this Chai Spice conjures up the deepest love I have for 'chai!!' It is spicy, sweet, rich and deep with the complex flavors of Chai. Honestly, it is so unique and divine!
Sugar and Spice and almost everything Nice
Well, I love the flavor - it makes my taste buds bloom with delight! But, I failed to look at the ingredients before purchasing. :-( So, when I received it and saw that sugar is way up on the list of ingredients, second just after the nuts, I was annoyed and disillusioned. Furthermore, the next ingredient is honey (just another form of sugar.) Pure stevia would work just as well here as a substitute for the processed sugar, as there are so many flavors that would overcome any bitterness that the stevia might leave behind. Too many manufacturers and retailers are adding far too much sugar to the products they market and sell to consumers. And the soaring rates of diabetes, arthritis, osteoarthritis, cancer, etc... is a reflection of that abuse. I know you would agree. Unfortunately, I know all to well the politics and the **** influences of the sugar industry so I don't expect any changes in this regard. Ciao!
If you like chai, you'll love this spread
Hi! Brenda from the Hive team here. This nut butter is so delicious and flavorful. My favorite breakfast meal is scooping a tablespoon of this in with greek yogurt and a few slices of mango.
