How it does good
Fishwife's mission is to make ethically-sourced, sustainable canned seafood a staple in every cupboard. They partner with the Marine Stewardship Council, Aquaculture Stewardship Council, and Fair Trade USA to ensure their products comply with the highest standards of sustainability and social responsibility. Their product packaging is not only beautifully designed, it's also easily-recyclable and helps prevent food waste.

Fishwife cofounder, Becca Millstein, and her small but mighty team, are on a mission to make ethically-sourced, premium tinned seafood as much of a staple in US pantries as it is in Europe.
What's a "fishwife", you ask? Originally it was an umbrella term for the wives and daughters of fishermen you'd find at a market, it's since evolved into an insult for brash and foul-mouthed women, which Becca chooses to wear as a badge of honor (editor's note: us too!).
