Hummingbird's products do not contain ingredients on Hive's No Good, Dirty Rotten list of banned and watch list ingredients.

Through their Distributor Supported Agriculture model they help farmers transition to organic farming practices, helping them to achieve sustainable production that is better for the soil and animals.

How it does good
Many food manufacturers don't work directly with farmers, which can make it hard to know where your food comes from and how it's grown. Hummingbird is a family-owned organic food company that brings humanity into their business relationships. They take great care in building long-term relationships with farmers, suppliers, and other partners, and specialize in sourcing farm-direct, quality ingredients grown in the Pacific Northwest. So you can always know how your food got to your table.

Hummingbird
Hummingbird is dedicated to being a positive force for change in the organic industry. Working directly with family farms, Hummingbird brings thoughtfully curated, artisanal products, made with ingredients grown as locally and sustainably as possible. In 2023 founders Julie and Charlie Tilt transferred ownership of the business to an employee-owned, Perpetual Purpose Trust, the legal mission of which is "To serve as a co-creator of life enhancing, inclusive and healthy food systems for our regional and global community."
