How it does good

Hummingbird is a family-owned organic food company that brings humanity into their business relationships. They take great care in building long-term relationships with farmers, suppliers, and other partners, and specialize in sourcing farm-direct, quality ingredients grown in the Pacific Northwest. So you can always know how your food got to your table.

Hummingbird is dedicated to being a positive force for change in the organic industry. Working directly with family farms, Hummingbird brings thoughtfully curated, artisanal products, made with ingredients grown as locally and sustainably as possible. In 2023 founders Julie and Charlie Tilt transferred ownership of the business to an employee-owned, Perpetual Purpose Trust, the legal mission of which is "To serve as a co-creator of life enhancing, inclusive and healthy food systems for our regional and global community."
