Did you know oyster crackers got their name from their shape, which is reminiscent of the oyster- (and clam-) studded chowdahs they were created to garnish? Us neither. We think they're delicious regardless of their shape or whether they're in a chowder, on a salad, or in your fist.

These snappy, crunchy oyster crackers are made with local Wisconsin wheat, like all Potter's Crackers. Their bonus feature is a celebration of Wisconsin's other famous export: dairy! Baked with local cheddar cheese and a hint of cayenne pepper, you can rely on these crackers to add textural interest to your next bowl of soup.

How it does good

Sometimes there's a lack of transparency when it comes to wheat, grain, and other farming practices. Transparency and traceability matter because they help ensure the quality, sustainability, and fairness of a production process. Which is the exact stuff that makes Potter's Crackers a cut above the standard cracker. They source their wheat, milk, and butter from small farms and family farmers, instead of bigger industrial set ups. In addition to responsible sourcing, they count on minimal plastic and maximum recyclability for their packaging.

How to Use

Scatter over your favorite soup or swap for croutons if you're in your salad days.

Recycling

Recycle the outer box in a curbside recycling bin. The inner bag is recyclable through TerraCycle by following our special instructions.

These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
