How it does good
The whole story with sun-dried fruits
In the U.S., about 40 million tons of food is wasted each year. RIND's mission is to minimize the waste while maximizing the taste. Most produce waste comes from throwing away peels and overripe fruit. RIND sun-dries the whole fruit, peel and all, to cut down on trashing perfectly edible food. They live by a "leave nothing behind" motto. They're also working to educate people about the food they consume and the waste they produce. All while created delicious, vitamin-rich snacks.
RIND only uses Non-GMO certified whole fruit. Their snacks are filled with fibers, antioxidants, nutrients, and other healthful properties.
Learn MoreRIND has taken a leadership role in product donations to national and local community groups combating hunger. These include The Baltimore Hunger Project, Feeding America, and the San Francisco Food Bank. They've also stepped up to champion social justice initiatives including The NAACP Legal Defense and The Trevor Project.

About the Brand
RIND
Mother Nature added peels on fruit for a reason: they store tons of vitamins, fiber, and micronutrients and are often thrown away. RIND was created to fix this mistake that people are making and introduce eating the outside, and arguably more important part, of the fruit. This allows a reduction in annual food waste as well.

Good but read the package
I didn't realize how bitter the oranges would be and it caught me off guard. (I should have read the package!) Love the rest of the blend, though. Not my favorite from RIND, but could be yours if you don't mind some bitter bites to balance the sweetness.

Healthy alternative
I thought it was OK, I prefer the healthy alternative. I don't see my husband eating it, he would say it tastes too much like the rind.
Pineapple is the best
The pineapple is really super good. I could eat a whole bag of just them. The orange tends to be a little bitter and I had some super hard pieces I couldn’t even eat. Pineapple made up for all of it
Smaller pieces would be nice...
I have to cut mine up. Pieces too big and often hard to bite off. I like them, bring used to natural dried fruit. May take some get used to if you're used to plump soft fruit chews.
A matter of taste.
I love the pineapple. The orange peel and the Kiwi are just too strong for me. I love the persimmon most of all, from the ORCHARD pack. The peaches are so good too and the apples. Can't miss in the apple. I wish I could buy just the persimmon.
