How it does good
Breaking the cycle of plastic
Did you know that the average menstruating human uses over 11,000 period products in their lifetime? And that one conventional pad can take around 500 years to break down? That’s an ungodly amount of plastic. With their reusable, medical-grade period cups, Saalt believes the future of menstruation is sustainable and inclusive to all. Founded on the belief that everyone should have the right to a safe and dignified period, Saalt is dedicated to ensuring that a portion of their profits go to global period care and health education.

How to use it

Fold and insert it horizontally toward your tailbone. Once your cup is filled, you simply empty, wash, rinse, and reinsert the cup for up to 12 hours of protection. More Qs? Full step-by-step instructions and resources are included with your cup, or reach out to sayhey@saalt.com for personalized help.
When you're done...
Recycle the carton in a curbside bin. But first, remove the plastic viewing window and recycle it through TerraCycle by following our special instructions.
These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
