Giving back to the communities in Rwanda
Tea sourcing can sometimes negatively impact the regions where tea is grown. teapigs fights against this by supporting communities in Gisenyi, Rwanda, where their teas come from. They use their business model to make a difference. They work with organizations that provide care for disabled children and young adults in Rwanda and make donations towards the hidden costs of education. On top of that, they’re doing their part for the environment. Teas come from high-quality, well-run tea estates, and the packaging is fully plastic-free.
Donations from the English breakfast tea go toward The Point Foundation in Rwanda. They also contribute to the hidden costs of education with donations to the UCC Children's School.
