Nutrient-stripping chemicals and harsh exfoliants made us say we don’t want no scrubs. Then we met this gentle, rejuvenating skin-saver, with charcoal to draw out grime and sugar to scrub it away.

We already knew our tastebuds love sugar, but this soothing, seriously cleansing scrub showed us our skin loves sugar too. Instead of removing natural moisture and replacing it with irritating chemicals, Zum's rich scrub uses hydrating jojoba oil and cleansing charcoal to aid our face in its natural process of shedding dead skin and debris, and unlocking the smooth skin underneath.

How it does good

We use soaps and cleansers to wash our bodies, but that doesn't mean they're inherently clean. Many ingredients lists include non-renewable petrochemicals and carcinogens, which can do serious harm to our environment when they're disposed of. Non-chemical resources, like palm oil, also cause problems when irresponsible harvesting leads to deforestation. With all this in mind, Zum set out to create a new kind of line. In their Kansas City-based factory, they're cooking up cruelty-free, vegetarian cosmetics using natural, custom-blended oils, minerals, and milks. You'll never find parabens or phthalates in their stuff. They're dedicated to sustainably sourced bath and body products with short supply chains and ingredients that keep your body and the earth clean.

How to Use

Apply gently to face, then exfoliate in small circles, rinsing off with warm water.

Recycling

Good news! The glass jar and plastic lid are curbside recyclable once separated.

These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
