We’ve never been so happy as hearing the lid pop on this vegan version of a classic. Nutty, just-a-little-floral coconut milk replaces cream for a hearty, orange sauce that’ll leave you grinning.

Onions have a reputation for making us cry, but have we ever considered what's making them weepy? Maybe it was waiting for someone to mix them with sweet coconut milk, pungent basil, and red curry paste, and make an orangey sauce that just melts off the spoon. Don't worry, onions, this one's got you covered. And did we mention it's vegan?

Jar Goods is a female-fronted family business, founded to make real tomato sauces for real (and really conscientious) shoppers.

How it does good

Making the sauce aisle more mindful

Jar Goods is out to disrupt things with a buyer-focused mission that expands sauce uses and leaves out artificial ingredients. Getting started with an old family recipe, they were selected for the Chobani Food Incubator in 2016. This bolstered their goal to improve the future of the food industry by making things more intuitive, more affordable, and better for the environment. They work with an organic co-packer and, even as a small business, have their eye on giving back to nature-focused nonprofits that benefit real people and the land that makes their food. The sauce aisle will never be the same.
