The tale of Barney Butter starts with a nutty love story. For Dawn and Steve Kelley, it all began with a blind date that turned into a shared dream for “making something positive for the world” and a splash of serendipity. Since becoming a reality in 2008, the power couple-backed company has prided itself in sourcing 100% of their almonds from local growers and reducing the amount of carbon waste they produce in the process. Setting themselves apart from their competitors, they take the extra step to taking the skin off their almonds (a.k.a. blanching), resulting in an ultra-smooth and creamy almond butter that people can't get enough of.
