How it does good

Working with our planet, never against it

Kodiak Cakes isn’t interested in cutting corners when it comes to their ingredients. They partner with non-GMO farms because genetically-modified crops can have negative consequences that affect our environment and our bodies. Before they agree to source an ingredient, Kodiak ensures that the farm works with nature as an ally, not an adversary. They also partner with Recycle Utah to reduce environmental impact from landfill waste to energy usage to staff carbon footprints. By 2023, they will publish their “green goals,” a list of seven pledges they are making to our earth.

  • responsible sourcing

All of Kodiak Cakes' ingredients are non-GMO certified. They choose to source from non-GMO farms because they grow with our delicate eco-system in mind.
  • low carbon footprint

Kodiak Cakes recently partnered with Recycle Utah, a non-proft that provides environmental education to individuals and businesses.

How to use it

Breakfast meets dessert with this delicious, filling oatmeal that'll please your whole family.

When you're done...

Cardboard can be recycled in your cubside bin. Plastic-lined oatmeal packets should be sent to TerraCycle for recycling.

These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.

About the Brand

Kodiak Cakes

Kodiak Cakes

Kodiak Cakes began in 1982 when Penny Clark sent her 8-year-old son Joel into the neighborhood with a red wagon filled with paper bags of her father’s heirloom flapjack mix. He returned with an empty wagon and lifelong plans. Decades later, Joel launched booming pancake brand Kodiak Cakes. Though they've grown tremendously, they remain family-owned and still make each product as if they were crafting a homemade recipe to share with friends and neighbors. They're committed to keeping the great outdoors wild.

Great taste for Oatmeal

Usually oatmeal is not what I run to when it comes to breakfast. However, this oatmeal taste like brownie batter once its all said and done, and it is amazing. I believe you could also use this to make no bake cookies as well that would taste great. I love that they are from Park City, UT.
