How it does good
Do it for the farmers
Beyond Good is working towards a world where farmers make good money. A world where farmers are not a statistic. A world where farmers are treated like people, and not photo ops. The typical chocolate supply chain has anywhere from 3-5 middlemen sitting between the cocoa farmer and the chocolate maker. That doesn’t work for farmers and it doesn’t work for Beyond Good. So they put their money where their mouth is. They built a factory in Madagascar as close as possible to their cocoa farmers.
-
responsible sourcing
Beyond Good has zero middlemen between cocoa farmers and chocolate makers, and that means 100% transparency and farmers make 6x the industry’s standard pay. -
low carbon footprint
Beyond Good sources and produces at origin in Africa (the only American company to do so), making for a more efficient supply chain and smaller carbon footprint compared to any comparably sized operation. -
supporting key causes
Beyond Good makes in-kind donations to organizations that benefit Madagascar, Lemur Conservation, and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. With the help of Conservation International and the Bristol Zoo, they started to research the link between cocoa trees and lemur conservation. -
responsible sourcing
Beyond Good chocolates are packaged in recyclable paper and foil.
How to use it

Throw these chocolate pieces into that recipe you've been meaning to finesse.
When you're done...
Good news! The plastic tub (#1 PET) is recyclable in a curbside bin.
These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
