How it does good

The "salt of the earth" that's good for the earth, too

Sea salt comes from water, which means there are a lot of environmental elements to consider. Jacobsen tested water from over 25 locations before settling on the Netarts Bay oyster beds they now use. The oysters filter the sea water, creating a high salinity and low turbidity while filtering out any pollutants. Jacobsen also looks for ways to give back, both through their suppliers and the community. They use direct trade with Oregon seaweed farmers and work with brands who share their mission.
