  • The Organized Kashrus Laboratories (OK) Certified Kosher

If chocolate on chocolate is wrong, we don't want to be right. This mix from Kodiak Cakes is cake-y, moist, and loaded up with chocolate chips. It also has whole grains and non-GMO ingredients that give it a richer flavor and more nutritional value than your average grocery store muffin. If you're smart, you'll eat them when they're still a little warm from the oven so the chips melt on your tongue.

By working with non-GMO farms and Recycle Utah, Kodiak Cakes takes special care to lower their environmental impact from sourcing to packaging.
100% whole grain wheat flour, cane sugar, vital wheat gluten, cocoa (processed with alkali), semisweet chocolate (sugar, unsweetened chocolate, cocoa butter, dextrose sunflower and/or soy lecithin), 100% whole grain oat flour, light molasses (refinery syrup, cane molasses), leavening (cream of tarter, sodium bicarbonate), natural flavor, sea salt.

Allergens

Contains soy and wheat. Due to processing on shared equipment, contains trace amounts of egg, milk, and tree nuts.

How it does good

Working with our planet, never against it

Kodiak Cakes isn’t interested in cutting corners when it comes to their ingredients. They partner with non-GMO farms because genetically-modified crops can have negative consequences that affect our environment and our bodies. Before they agree to source an ingredient, Kodiak ensures that the farm works with nature as an ally, not an adversary. They also partner with Recycle Utah to reduce environmental impact from landfill waste to energy usage to staff carbon footprints. By 2023, they will publish their “green goals,” a list of seven pledges they are making to our earth.
