Asparagusto Spicy Pickled Asparagus

Pacific Pickle Works

Meet steamed asparagus’s spicy older sibling. Submerged in oniony vinegar for that beautiful burn of salt and sour, each stalk is bittersweet, smooth-textured, and big enough for multiple bites.

Sustainable goodness

Pacific Pickle Works' pickle-making started out as a hobby, and they're staying true to their origins without preservatives or GMOs.

Why we love it

Asparagus also comes in purple and white, but something just feels so right when you see those spears in green. We love the extra-long stalks, so perfect it’s like they were plucked from the soil and plopped right in the brine. Their earthy, vaguely bitter taste meets rich, heated jalapeño for a savory flavor you’ll be dying to share.

How it does good

Leading by example, one crunch at a time

Pacific Pickle Works loves pickles. While that’s not surprising for a leader in clean-label pickle-making, it’s what inspires them to focus on making the best pickled products without unnecessary ingredients. They started by making pickled holiday gifts, and have stayed true to their homemade history by hand-packing their products at their Santa Barbara factory. They traceably source veggies from farms free from GMOs, and they’re all about supporting their California community, working with fellow businesses for sustainable, clean-ingredient solutions and standing by people damaged by wildfires. Free from preservatives and artificial ingredients, PPW is showing the rest of the pickle industry how it's done.

  • supporting key causes

Pacific Pickle Works donates money and products to food banks in the Santa Barbara area as well as food to local animal shelters, like Bunnies Urgently Needing Shelter (BUNS).
  • responsible sourcing

Pacific Pickle Works sources all its ingredients directly from non-GMO Project Verified farms and hand-packs eveything in-house without artificial stabilizers or preservatives.
  • recyclable packaging

Their bottles and lids are curbside recyclable. They also use eco-friendly materials for shipping.
  • Certified Non-GMO

How to use it

Introduce an asparagus spear to your PPW Bloody Mary for a punchy garnish you won't want to save for the end. Or add them to a cheese plate along with some olives.

When you're done...
