Bears love honey. And we love honey bears. Well, the cookie version anyway. Kodiak Cakes bakes these crunchy little cookies with naturally sweet honey and other wholesome ingredients (think: whole grains). You'll love snacking on them when you get a bit peckish between meals or when you're on-the-go and get a craving for something sweet. For us that's pretty much on the daily.

Ingredients

100% whole wheat flour, 100% whole grain graham flour, cane sugar, sunflower and/or canola and/or soybean oil, milk protein concentrate, water, brown sugar, malted barley, dry honey (honey, wheat starch), egg whites, natural flavor, leavening (sodium bicarbonate, baking powder), sunflower and/or soy and/or canola lecithin, salt.

How it does good

Kodiak Cakes isn't interested in cutting corners when it comes to their ingredients. They partner with non-GMO farms because genetically-modified crops can have negative consequences that affect our environment and our bodies. Before they agree to source an ingredient, Kodiak ensures that the farm works with nature as an ally, not an adversary. They also partner with Recycle Utah to reduce environmental impact from landfill waste to energy usage to staff carbon footprints. By 2023, they will publish their "green goals," a list of seven pledges they are making to our earth.

Kodiak

Kodiak began in 1982 when Penny Clark sent her 8-year-old son Joel into the neighborhood with a red wagon filled with paper bags of her father’s heirloom flapjack mix. He returned with an empty wagon and lifelong plans. Decades later, Joel launched booming pancake brand Kodiak Cakes. Though they've grown tremendously, they remain family-owned and still make each product as if they were crafting a homemade recipe to share with friends and neighbors. They're committed to keeping the great outdoors wild.

Addicted to Bears

I love those little bears! Can't get enough of them. Something that tastes so good and yet is really healthy is an amazing combination. I only wish they were easier to find. As long as I know I can come to your website and get a bunch of boxes at a time I'll be fine....

Kodiak Bear Bites—Honey Graham

I have bought many boxes of these wonderful little crackers/cookies and I love them way beyond description. They are shaped just like the animal honey graham crackers of yesteryear but they have a twist…protein! They have 5 grams per serving of 15 bear bites and they only have 120 calories/serving! They are a must have snack for everyone in the house. Just remember, keep plenty of boxes on hand as they have a tendency to magically vanish into thin air just when you crave them the most. The honey grahams are my favorite but you can also buy them in chocolate and cinnamon. They come in a recyclable container and they stack well in the pantry. I definitely would recommend to everyone but beware, they have addiction potential.
