Maple + Raisin Oatmeal

Raisins. You either love them or you deal with them in some of your favorite foods. Us? We love them. Especially when they're in a gluten-free oatmeal like this one.
Sustainable goodness
The GFB uses simple, organic ingredients to make their gluten-free, protein-packed snacks in a zero waste facility.
Why we love it
Maple just screams "breakfast!" doesn't it? The signature sweetness really brings out the best in this single serve bowl of gluten-free oatmeal. And the raisins add the right amount of texture and a little tartness. Plus, did we mention the pop-up bowl is recyclable? Overall, we give this breakfast bowl 5 stars for convenience without compromise.

How it does good
A commitment to building a better business
Workers deserve a fair wage. It's a simple idea, but a central one for the folks at The GFB. Foundational to their business model is a promise to work with small batches, big kitchens, and a workforce local to those kitchens. By doing that, they've been able to ensure that their good tasting food does some good for people, too. They're so committed to equity for their employees that one of their primary objectives is to be an Employer of Choice. That means always paying above living wages, keeping executive pay to less than 4x base wages for any team member, an extremely strong PTO policy, team member counseling services, and company paid health insurance. Currently 100% of their employees earn above a living wage, and their entry, hourly wage is actually 20% above the living wage.

responsible sourcing
The GFB sources organic, non-GMO ingredients you can actually understand for all of their products.
How to use it

Keep some of these in your pack when you head out camping.
When you're done...
The outer sleeve is curbside recyclable and the inner bag goes in the garbage bin.
These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.
